ALEX KAYODE-KAY

Alex Kayode-Kay is a BAFTA-nominated, multi-award-winning Director, Writer and Producer with a background in both filmmaking and performance. 

He is also trained as an actor, bringing a deep understanding of character and storytelling

to his work behind the camera.

Alex has directed and produced an array of short films, documentaries, and music videos. 

His drama The Ballad of Olive Morris won Best Short Film at the Windrush Caribbean Film Festival and was nominated for Best British Short Film at the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards. 

His earlier work The Solution was a Best Pilot nominee at the Edinburgh TV Festival’s New Voice Awards.

Alex’s films have screened globally - from Germany to Brazil, South Korea to Colombia - earning acclaim across international festivals. 

Alongside developing his debut feature, he continues to direct and produce branded content and promos for leading platforms such as TikTok, always with a focus on powerful, inclusive storytelling that resonates.
